Passionfruit is yet another of my favourite flavours.  I always loved drinking the Pasito soft drink growing up, and now the hubby makes a more adult drink by making passionfruit liqueur.  If there is an option for something passionfruit, I will generally take it, including the fruit itself.

When we recently had friends over for dinner, I wanted to make something with passionfruit and given B said she liked créme brûlée it was decided I would make Passionfruit Créme Brûlée.

Since I first started making the popcorn and malteser macarons, I have had lots of practice at them as they are certainly my most popular variety.  It also happened to be one of the first posts on my blog and so some, well the majority, of the photos left a lot to be desired.

Even though I have made them quite a few times since, and have always meant to take some more photos, I never did.  When the time came to make the macaron tower I thought I would at least get a couple of new feature photos rather than doing the step by step process again.

Roast Pumpkin Soup

Roast Pumpkin Soup from Cath's Cookery Creations!Winter for me means soup and one soup I make every winter, and occasionally at other times during the year, is Roast Pumpkin Soup.  Pumpkin has to be one of my favourite vegetables, with butternut pumpkin by far my favourite variety.  I could eat roasted butternut pumpkin until the end of time but I would probably start to look like one after a while so best not.

You can certainly make this soup with any pumpkin you have on hand, and on this particular day I had a large Jarrahdale pumpkin that we had been given by a local farmer as I was saving the butternut he had also given us for a vegetable lasagne.
