Top 10 Recipes… So Far

Normally this is the time of year where I would take a look back at the posts from the last 12 months and share with you the top 10. However, there is the slight problem that you can count the number of posts for 2016 and 2017 on one hand and two of those aren’t even recipes.

Top 10 Posts of 2015

This is the time of year where I take a look back at what you have liked the most on the blog over the past 12 months. 2015 has been a quiet year compared to previous given the arrival of my daughter so only 12 recipes made it to you.

My goal for 2016 is to work my way back up to providing you with a post every week, but in the meantime, let’s have a look back at your favourites.

Top 10 Posts of 2014

Despite dropping off the radar for most of the second part of the year, this little blog still managed over 138,000 views (up from 92,000 the year before) with most people checking out at least two posts during their visit. It is only a drop in the ocean compared to what some blogs achieve, and I am certainly not going to complain but rather thank you all very much for coming by!

It has now come to the time of the year when I have a look at what posts from 2014 you enjoyed, so sit back and enjoy the countdown.

Top 10 Posts of 2013

As I did last year, I thought I would take a look back and see what you were most interested in on my blog and look at the top 10 posts of 2013. When rereading that post I can see that my goal was to cook more out of my current cook book collection.

So that didn’t really happen and I will have to see what I can do about it this year as I only really did a little bit but not quite as much as I had hoped for. Mind you, it didn’t stop me from buying more cook books (I am just digging myself a deeper hole here I know).

Top 10 Posts of 2012

So I thought it would be nice to look back and see which of my posts proved to be the most popular since I started this blog in April. Although it has only been eight months, I really have enjoyed writing each week and it is certainly making me try new things as I am sure you do not want to read about the same thing over and over and over again. I am also thankful for your feedback and hearing from those of you who have made something that has appeared on here. It makes me smile.

One of my goals this year is to cook more from the numerous cookbooks I have acquired over the years. I tend to get seduced by the beautiful pictures and the intriguing stories or I only buy them for one recipe, and don’t often actually cook from them. That will change otherwise I don’t think I will be allowed to buy any more.
