So I thought it would be nice to look back and see which of my posts proved to be the most popular since I started this blog in April. Although it has only been eight months, I really have enjoyed writing each week and it is certainly making me try new things as I am sure you do not want to read about the same thing over and over and over again. I am also thankful for your feedback and hearing from those of you who have made something that has appeared on here. It makes me smile.
One of my goals this year is to cook more from the numerous cookbooks I have acquired over the years. I tend to get seduced by the beautiful pictures and the intriguing stories or I only buy them for one recipe, and don’t often actually cook from them. That will change otherwise I don’t think I will be allowed to buy any more.

1. Zucchini Slice
The Zucchini Slice has had almost twice as many views as the Chocolate Gateaux in second place so is the clear winner and I was very surprised as the Wedding Cake was in the lead for so long.
One of my personal favourites is the Strawberry Cloud Cake which has certainly been a hit with a few people I know as three of them, that I am aware of, have made it and really enjoyed it. The perfect dessert coming into some ridiculously hot weather.
